Aerospace Industry Machines For Composite And Technical Material Cutting

The aerospace industry demands the most exacting cutting standards available — dimensional tolerances measured in fractions of a millimetre, materials that punish imprecision, and production processes where quality traceability is non-negotiable. Suteau-Anver supplies aerospace machining solutions for the cutting, trimming and surface preparation of advanced composite and technical materials.

Our solutions for the aerospace industry

Suteau-Anver supports aerospace manufacturers in the cutting and processing of flexible and composite materials used in the manufacture and fitting of aircraft interiors: seats, cabin linings, insulation panels, coverings and trim parts.

The materials processed in this sector are among the most technical and demanding: carbon, Kevlar, aramid, glass fiber, honeycomb, technical foam, leather and multi-layer synthetics. Cutting them requires precise, robust machines that are adaptable to parts of various formats and geometries, for both small batches and industrial production.

For the die-cutting of composite and flexible materials in multiple layers, Suteau-Anver offers its traveling head presses – Models SA XPM and PTMV, with power ratings up to 300 tonnes and formats up to 3,000 mm, guaranteeing irreproachable cutting precision on all types of technical materials.

For the tool-less cutting of parts with complex geometries, the CNC digital cutting table with oscillating knife allows for the production of technical parts from CAD files with millimeter-perfect accuracy, ideal for aerospace prototypes and small series.

For the cutting and cut-to-length of materials in rolls — carbon, Kevlar, glass fiber — the automatic guillotine cutter with feed system ensures a cutting precision of ±1 mm with widths up to 2,000 mm.

For the creation of molded foam and composite fittings, the VFS model thermoforming press offers mold positioning to within a hundredth of a millimeter for interior parts that comply with aerospace industry requirements.

Suteau-Anver provides installation and after-sales service for all of this equipment.

The advantages of our machines for aerospace

  • Precision and strict tolerances: machines adjusted to the hundredth to meet the dimensional requirements of technical aerospace parts
  • High-strength composite cutting: carbon, Kevlar, aramid, honeycomb — solutions adapted to the most demanding materials in the aerospace sector
  • Tool-less or die-cutting: CNC cutting for complex shapes in small series, hydraulic presses for high-speed repetitive production
  • Precision thermoforming: molding of interior trim parts with 0.01 mm positioning for total compliance with specifications
