The robotic cutting cell is a custom solution designed and manufactured by Suteau-Anver, specially developed for trimming molded or thermoformed parts with a milling cutter. It meets the most demanding industrial requirements in terms of cutting automation, trimming precision and production rate.
Suteau-Anver designs and manufactures robotic cutting systems adapted to your existing production lines, to complete and automate a cutting or finishing step without having to reconfigure the entire existing process. Each cell is custom-engineered in close collaboration with the customer, from defining the specifications through to start of production, by the Suteau-Anver design office, made up of 3 automation engineers and 7 design draftsmen.
The cell includes an articulated-arm robot fitted with a milling spindle dedicated to precise trimming of molded or thermoformed parts after demolding. The trimming path is programmed according to the precise geometry of each part, for a repeatable result on every cycle that meets the strictest tolerances. The cell can include automatic gripping, loading and unloading systems for full integration into the production line.
These robotic cells are aimed at the automotive, aeronautics, marine and technical packaging sectors, for all trimming applications on flexible materials, composites or thermoformed parts that require a precision and rate that manual operations cannot achieve.
