The FK range covers two complementary technologies depending on the nature of the materials and the complexity of the profiles to be produced.
The F 62 vertical contour cutting machine is the perfect solution for producing small, medium or large volumes of a wide variety of contour parts in series production. Whether you use flexible or rebond foam, coated materials, felts or similar materials, the F 62, with its band knife that can be twisted ±360°, is a powerful partner when it comes to precise contour cutting at high speeds. The band knife runs over five knife pulleys: this patent technique minimises wear parts and makes the machine extremely compact. The powerful FK nesting and routing software ensures contours are nested into one another to make the most of the material being cut, while the routing function delivers a perfect cutting line, determining how long cutting will take and what quality the cut will be.
For hardened or semi-rigid materials where a rotating band knife reaches its limits, the C 58 wire cutting centre takes over: the machine accelerates the cutting wire up to 360 km/h. The monitoring of the cutting resistance allows the automatic adjustment of the cutting speed. To compensate the wire length, the tension is pneumatically controlled. The intuitive user interface of the C 58 is compatible with other FK contour cutting centres, making it easy for the machine operator to switch between the different cutting centres. Programming is carried out via CAD/DXF files, compatible across all FK contour cutting machines.
