Suteau-Anver offers two sanding and leather skiving machine solutions of its own design and manufacture, each adapted to different applications.
The sanding station – Model SA 540 is a dedicated leather skiver for edge finishing. Available in vertical (SA 540 V) or horizontal (SA 540 H) belt configuration, it enables precise edge reduction across abrasive belt widths from 10 to 60 mm on the vertical version. Its electric height adjustment, variable speed and powerful integrated dust extraction deliver an ergonomic and clean workstation for leather goods and saddlery workshops — the ideal tool for preparation for folding and pre-gluing precision thinning of leather edges.
The carder / sander – 300 mm, also designed and manufactured by Suteau-Anver, is a versatile machine covering several industries. Originally designed for sole sanding before bonding and welding in footwear, it is also used in leather goods for controlled surface leather thinning by abrasion, and in the nautical industry for sanding flexible surfaces. Its two-speed roller drive and 120 mm dust extraction connection make it a practical skiving tool for multi-sector workshops.
