Vertical Cutting Machine For Foam And Flexible Material Blocks

Vertical cutting is the operation of sectioning foam blocks, panels and semi-rigid materials along their full height in a single pass — separating large blocks into slabs, panels or strips with a clean, flat cut face. As the official French distributor of Fecken-Kirfel, Suteau-Anver offers the complete range of precision vertical saw and vertical cutting solutions for foam producers and processors.

Our Vertical Cutting Machines

Suteau-Anver distributes the full Fecken-Kirfel vertical cutting machine range — the reference technology for foam block separation and sheet slicing in PU foam, rigid foam, acoustic insulation and technical materials.

The V 51 fully automatic vertical cutting machine is the foundation of the Fecken-Kirfel vertical cutting range — and the machine that every other V-series model is built upon. It features a stationary table and movable cutting unit with adjustable band knife speed from 10 to 40 m/min. A continuous band knife with integrated sharpening device and PLC control ensures consistent cut quality throughout the production run. Available in single or double cutting configurations for maximum output on PU foam, PVC and similar materials.

The V 58 extends the V 51 concept with a square rotating table — delivering perfectly rectangular block separation cuts on sponge and technical foam blocks, with optimal positioning for all four sides in a single automatic programme cycle.

The V 51/5 is the specialist vertical cutting machine for packaging, automotive and building materials — equipped with a pneumatic knife-tensioning system and supporting both band knife and bandsaw cutting tools, at speeds from 2 to 10 m/min for harder and semi-rigid materials including rigid PU foam, EPS, stone wool and similar products.

The T series vertical cutting machines (T 1, T 2, T 4, T 8) complete the range with dedicated upright blade cutting and trimming solutions for foam block cross-cutting and length-trimming — the sheet slicing workhorses for foam conversion workshops requiring precise, repeatable transverse cuts at every stage of the production process. The T 8/5 variant extends this capability to the most demanding production environments with enhanced automation and extended cutting height.

All Fecken-Kirfel vertical cutting machines are distributed, installed and supported in France directly by Suteau-Anver’s own technicians — from commissioning and operator training through to after-sales service and spare parts.

Benefits Of Vertical Cutting Machines

Block separation precision: the V 51 PLC-controlled movable cutting unit follows the programme with exact repeatability — clean, flat cut faces on every block, every time

Upright blade cutting versatility: band knife for flexible foam, bandsaw for rigid foam and stone wool — one range covers all vertical cutting material types

Precision vertical saw performance: motorised sharpening device and integrated grinding unit maintain blade geometry throughout the production shift — no quality drift over time

Sheet slicing automation: fully automatic programme cycles on the V 51 and V 58 eliminate manual positioning between cuts — higher output with lower operator intervention

French distribution by Suteau-Anver: installation, training and after-sales service delivered directly by Suteau-Anver’s own technicians in France
