Clicker Press And Manual Cutting Press For Leather And Flexible Materials

A clicker press or manual press is the entry-level cutting tool found in every leather goods, saddlery, footwear and flexible material workshop — delivering precise, repeatable die-cutting on small batches, samples and prototypes without the complexity or footprint of automated equipment. Suteau-Anver offers a complete range of manual cutting solutions for every workshop scale.

Our Manual Cutting Presses

Suteau-Anver offers three complementary manual cutting press and clicker press solutions, from the most compact hand-operated tool to the assisted hydraulic swing-arm press — all of its own design and manufacture or from long-standing distribution partners.

The SA EASY CUT manual die cutting press is Suteau-Anver’s own design and manufacture — the most compact manual press in its range. With no electrical connection required, it installs instantly on any work surface and can be repositioned anywhere in the workshop. A single 812 mm lever delivers up to 5 tonnes of cutting force — sufficient for precise die-cutting of leather, synthetic, foam, rubber, textile, felt, cardboard and plastic up to 10 mm thick. Its precision manual adjustment wheel sets the cut point reproducibly without re-measuring, and its working surface of 300 x 225 mm accommodates all standard small-part dies. At only 45 kg, it is genuinely portable — the ideal small-batch cutting tool for design studios, prototyping departments and artisan leather goods workshops.

The SA F35 and SA F60 hydraulic clicker presses (Suteau-Anver design and manufacture) are the reference hydraulic clicker press solutions for leather goods, saddlery and footwear workshops requiring greater cutting force. The SA F35 delivers up to 12 tonnes on a 330 x 300 mm working surface; the SA F60 delivers up to 27 tonnes on a 500 x 500 mm surface. Both are available in swing-arm or fixed-arm configuration with a wheel-encoder potentiometer for precise cutting force adjustment, and optional Allen Bradley sensitive control for intuitive operation. Compatible with forged and filet-wood dies on all flexible materials.

The LM 10 SUPER assisted swing-arm clicker press (ARES, distributed by Suteau-Anver) is the benchmark workshop cutting press for all-round small-batch production — ergonomic, safe on its full perimeter, minimal maintenance and immediate to operate. Its assisted swing arm reduces operator effort to a minimum, making it the natural choice for intensive daily use in leather goods, garment and flexible material ateliers.

Benefits Of Manual Cutting Presses

Clicker press simplicity: no programming, no setup time — position your die, press and cut. The fastest way to produce small batches and prototypes with full precision

Manual leather cutting versatility: leather, synthetic, foam, rubber, textile, felt, cardboard — one manual cutting press handles all flexible materials used in leather goods and footwear

Workshop cutting press ergonomics: the assisted swing arm of the LM 10 SUPER and the SA F60 minimise operator effort — enabling intensive daily production without physical strain

Small-batch cutting economics: no die manufacturing lead time for CNC cutting, no minimum run size — manual die cutting is the most cost-effective solution for samples, repairs and short series

French manufacture: the SA EASY CUT, SA F35 and SA F60 are designed and built by Suteau-Anver in France — after-sales service and spare parts delivered directly by our own technicians
