Shaping And Molding Machines For Leather Goods And Footwear

Shaping and molding operations give flexible materials their definitive three-dimensional form — whether creating rigid bag bases, forming shoe uppers around a last, or setting the contour of a leather component under heat and pressure. Precision form-setting is a critical step in both leather goods and footwear production, conditioning the structural integrity and aesthetic quality of the finished article.

Our Shaping And Molding Machines

Suteau-Anver offers a complete range of shaping and structured molding machines, all of its own design and manufacture, covering leather goods and footwear applications from prototype to large-volume production.

For leather goods shaping — rigid bag bases, stiffeners and contrefort components — the SA 690 C thermoforming press performs thermoforming preparation and contour shaping under heat up to 150°C with 0.5 to 2 tonnes of pressing force, independent upper and lower digital temperature regulation and a programmable compression time of 0 to 60 seconds. The SA 690 F version handles cold form-setting with a perforated cooling platen for materials not requiring heat activation. Both models feature Allen Bradley sensitive control and class 4 cell safety barriers.

For footwear upper shaping and last molding, the premoulding and reactivating stations — Models 408, 409 and 489 have been present in the Suteau-Anver range since the company’s foundation. These machines perform reactivation, material forming and complete flanging of the lasting margin for women’s, men’s, children’s and boot models — with heated moulds, refrigerated backpart moulds and pulling pincers available according to the configuration. Production capacity reaches 800 to 1 400 pairs in 8 hours.

For upper cambering and contour shaping of ladies’ boots and ankle boots, the Modèle 100 cambering machine has been in the catalogue since the company’s creation — delivering precise heel curve form-setting with independently adjustable heated blade and heated jaw temperatures from 0 to 150°C.

Benefits Of Shaping And Molding Machines

Precise form-setting: adjustable temperature, pressure and time parameters guarantee the same three-dimensional result on every piece throughout the production run

Hot and cold shaping: thermoforming for permanent structured molding, cold pressing for materials not requiring heat — one range covers all material forming needs

Complete footwear shaping range: from cambering to premoulding and full flanging — all contour shaping operations covered by Suteau-Anver’s own machines

Proven since foundation: the 408/409/489 and Modèle 100 ranges have equipped leather goods and footwear workshops worldwide for over 75 years
