The 17T model is a roughing / sanding / brushing machine with abrasive belt, designed and manufactured by Suteau-Anver, dedicated primarily to the footwear industry for preparing soles and uppers before gluing. It combines three surface preparation operations in a single machine: roughing to open up and abrade the fibers, sanding to abrade the surface uniformly, and brushing to clean and activate the surfaces before glue application.
Its 33 mm endless abrasive belt (standard version) is available in many widths depending on the version chosen, from 14 to 100 mm. It comes in 1- or 2-station versions to meet all production needs, from the single station for small workshops to the double station for high-rate production.
The machine is used upstream of the Suteau-Anver Model 19 TER vacuum unit for optimal management of flammable roughing dust, a pairing designed to ensure safety and cleanliness of the workstation in the footwear industry.
