The RCB BAG machine is a one-side edge beveling machine developed by GALLI, a preferred partner of Suteau-Anver for decades. Edge beveling consists of thinning the edge of a leather part to a bevel on one side only, to make it easier to fold, turn or assemble on the handles, straps and edges of bags and luggage items, guaranteeing a gradual thickness at the edges and a clean, professional finish.
Dedicated to saddlery and luggage, the RCB BAG is fitted with a variable speed drive on the wheel transport, allowing the part feed rate to be precisely adapted to the material and the desired bevel thickness. The knife supplied with the machine is suited to the customer’s production from commissioning. Pedal or automatic control adapts to the operator’s working pace and to production volume.
Optionally, the groove kit (groover) can make one or two grooves in the part at the same time, with a depth and width that can be adjusted relative to the edge of the material, to combine edge beveling and grooving in a single operation.
