The FAV AV2 MAE skiving machine is a manual skiving machine from FRATELLI ALBERTI, distributed by Suteau-Anver, dedicated to skiving flexible materials in a single layer: leather, synthetic materials, textile and felt. Robust, reliable and easy to pick up, it is used daily in the footwear, leather goods, upholstery trim and clothing industries for thinning the edges of parts before sewing, folding or assembly.
Its variable speed drive for the conveyor transport makes it possible to skive materials with different and difficult profiles, precisely adapting the feed rate to each material processed. It helps the operator and avoids lost time between changes of materials or profiles in production. The machine is available on a height-adjustable table or on a fixed-height table, to adapt ergonomically to each workstation.
Available in 4 versions, from the head alone to the complete version with table, transport motor and super vacuum unit, the FAV range covers all needs, from the small workshop to intensive industrial production. A new-generation programmable version, the FAV AV2 NET 4.0, is also available for automated production.
