Key features
The hot air heat sealer for PE sheets is a machine designed and manufactured by Suteau-Anver, designed to heat-bond two polyethylene (PE) sheets by fusion—and other materials upon request. It joins two sheets by melting the surface of one side of each sheet using a hot air heating nozzle, before joining them under pressure in the calender. This process guarantees a homogeneous and strong weld across the entire contact surface of the two plates.
The plates are fed into the machine manually or automatically, depending on the chosen configuration, and the discharge of the welded plate can also be manual or automatic thanks to the available options—allowing the machine to be integrated into a fully automated production line.
Its calender, composed of 8 motorized rollers (4 in the upper section and 4 in the lower section), moves the plates at an adjustable speed of 1 to 10 m/min from the control panel. The heating nozzle is adjustable from 50 to 250°C to adapt to all the melting temperatures of the materials being processed. Its robust welded tubular frame on leveling feet ensures absolute stability in continuous industrial production.
It processes incoming sheets 400 to 1,500 mm wide, 600 to 2,600 mm long, and 10 to 290 mm thick — covering the largest industrial dimensions on the flooring and packaging market.
