Suteau-Anver’s continuous mechanical die-cutting presses are connecting-rod presses of in-house design and manufacture, designed for cut-through or kiss-cutting of flexible materials at high speed. Depending on the feed pitch, they can produce up to 180 cuts per minute, and a single cut can represent about twenty simultaneous impressions depending on the size of the tools and the power of the machine.

Their welded mechanical C-frame structure guarantees absolute rigidity on every strike. The moving upper platen is driven by a connecting-rod and crank system coupled to a gear motor, with all joints mounted on bearings for smooth kinematics and maximum service life. The lower platen allows the cutting point to be adjusted with an accuracy of 0.01 mm using a screw and nut system, for perfectly controlled kiss-cutting. The lower cutting plate is easily replaceable.

On each side of the platens, a servo-motor-driven double feed roller guarantees a mechanical feed accuracy of ±0.1 mm, with independent open/close control so the material can be pushed or pulled. An infeed guide bar guides the material continuously.

The numerical control with user-friendly dialogue can store 999 production programs – feed pitch, acceleration, deceleration, number of cuts per stroke – for production changeovers without lost time.
