The automatic guillotine cutter with feed system is a machine designed and manufactured by Suteau-Anver, dedicated to cutting flexible materials in standard web widths of 600 and 2,000 mm, with custom manufacture available for all other widths. It completes the range that starts with the small 80 mm bench-top cutter and is the Suteau-Anver industrial reference for cutting flexible materials in rolls to a programmable length.
A double feed roller integrated upstream of the guillotine cutter advances the material according to the programmed length. The double roller opens and closes pneumatically to make material engagement easier. Both rollers, 130 mm in diameter, are coated with natural rubber for smooth driving without slippage or deformation of the materials processed.
The lower roller is motorized by a servo motor / servo drive assembly guaranteeing a stopping accuracy of ±1 mm, so that parts are cut to identical lengths on every cycle. Feed speed is variable from 0 to 30 m/min. The upper roller rotates freely. All parameters – feed pitch, speed, acceleration, deceleration – are adjustable from the control desk. A manually adjustable width guide is fitted before the double roller.
The guillotine cutter cuts with a movable upper blade over a 40 mm stroke, driven by a connecting-rod and crank system powered by a gear motor, against a fixed lower counter-blade. The entire line is guarded to meet current standards, with an aluminum profile and Makrolon structure.
