The thermocompression line is a turnkey solution designed and manufactured by Suteau-Anver, integrating a series of complementary modules for producing thermocompressed parts in large industrial volumes. It was developed in particular for manufacturing automotive vehicle parcel shelves, and is aimed more broadly at the automotive, aeronautics and composites sectors requiring automated, high-rate production of thermoformed parts.
The line is made up of three integrated modules:
Module 1 – Preheating oven: a 400 kW oven fitted with an automatic layering conveyor provides uniform preheating of flexible materials before thermocompression. Temperature control and the automatic conveyor guarantee a perfectly controlled heating cycle that is repeatable on every production run.
Module 2 – Thermoforming and die-cutting press: at the heart of the line, a Suteau-Anver thermoforming and die-cutting press (powers and formats available on request) shapes the preheated parts under pressure. Available powers range from 80 to 500 tonnes, for working formats from 1,000 x 1,000 mm to 2,500 x 2,500 mm, covering all automotive or composite part dimensions.
Module 3 – Gripper robot: an integrated gripper robot automatically positions, loads and unloads the parts in the press, for continuous production without operator intervention and maximum rate.
Each line is entirely custom-designed and manufactured by the Suteau-Anver design office, according to each customer’s specific parts, materials and rates. Suteau-Anver handles the design, manufacture, installation and after-sales service of the entire line.
