Reactivation is an essential operation in leather goods and footwear: it consists of reheating glued parts that have previously dried, to make the glue tacky again and ready for assembly. The BC 133 is a static upper reactivation station using infrared lamps, which uniformly heats the glue at the surface by radiation, a precise, repeatable technique with no contact with the part.
Its rotating, tiltable part-holder shelf allows the operator to orient parts according to the areas to be reactivated and to expose all glued surfaces uniformly to the infrared heat, whatever the shape or size of the article. The reactivation and waiting time delay ensures a perfectly controlled heating cycle, and temperature/time control makes it possible to store the settings suited to each type of glue and each material processed.
Its compact footprint of 660 x 620 x 1,320 mm for only 85 kg allows it to be installed easily at any workstation in a leather goods or footwear workshop.
Optionally, a modification for reactivating belts or shoulder straps is available, to adapt the shelf and the radiation to the long, narrow formats of these specific articles.
