Over-Cutting And Precision Finishing Cut For Leather And Flexible Materials

Over-cutting is the operation of applying a controlled, shallow cutting pass to trim excess material from an assembled or folded piece — without cutting through to the backing. It is an essential precision finishing cut in leather goods, saddlery and luxury accessories production, enabling clean, sharp edges and flawless borders after assembly.

Our Over-Cutting Machines

Suteau-Anver offers a complete range of over-cutting machines covering all production configurations and force requirements.

The GALLI FS TEKNO over-cutting press is a hydraulic machine with retractable platen specifically designed for fine trimming and crease line operations on leather and flexible materials. With 10 000 kg of hydraulic force, a 300 x 200 mm working area, touchscreen programming and integrated LED lighting, it delivers post-cut adjustment and precision finishing cut results on even the most demanding luxury leather goods pieces — with ergonomic height adjustment and four levelling feet for a stable, comfortable workstation.

The COMEC BT4 embossing / cutting / over-cutting press extends this capability to forces from 90 to 180 tonnes across five versions, covering surface areas from 500 x 450 mm to 1 000 x 800 mm. Its mechanical stop ensures exact depth control at every stroke — the benchmark over-cutting solution for both leather goods and industrial production on polypropylene, aluminium and steel plate.

The Suteau-Anver ST 90 marking / cutting / over-cutting press completes the range with a robust swan-neck hydraulic press at 10 tonnes, integrating temperature control up to 200°C for combined hot marking and trim excess operations on a single workstation.

Suteau-Anver provides distribution, installation and after-sales service for all these machines, with spare parts in stock.
