Leather Splitting Machine And Horizontal Splitting Machine For Foam And Flexible Materials

Horizontal splitting is the operation of reducing a block, hide or sheet to a precise, uniform thickness by passing it through a band knife running parallel to the working surface. From leather splitting in leather goods production to foam and rubber sheet splitting for technical industries, Suteau-Anver offers the most complete range of horizontal splitting machines available from a single French distributor.

Our Horizontal Splitting Machines

Suteau-Anver distributes two complementary families of horizontal splitting machines — the CAMOGA range for leather and the Fecken-Kirfel range for foam, rubber and semi-rigid materials.

The CAMOGA 520L+ leather splitting machine is the reference leather splitter for footwear, belt and leather goods production. Its band knife runs on two wheels with a ceramic or diamond micrometric sharpening unit — keeping the blade constantly sharp for uninterrupted production. Automatic blade advance and automatic adjustment on blade change — with no parallelism re-setting — minimise setup time. Digital thickness display, servo-driven variable-speed transport, independent dust extraction with sharpening dust separation and low noise level complete this benchmark leather splitting machine. Available in nine versions from the Compact model to the C 1520, covering all production volumes from artisan workshops to full industrial splitting lines.

The Fecken-Kirfel horizontal splitting machine range (distributed by Suteau-Anver) extends horizontal splitting capability to foam, rubber and semi-rigid materials in block and panel form. The H series (H 24 A, H 24 B, H 24 E, H 24 G, H 24 T, H 31, H 32 LF, H 42 A, H 51) covers foam splitting and thickness calibration of PU foam panels, acoustic insulation, mattress components and cushioning elements — with motorised sharpening and central blade guide as standard for consistent cut quality on the densest materials. The G series (G 1, G 11) handles hard rubber, cork rubber, neoprene, latex and EVA foam with hardness up to 90 Shore A — the reference sheet splitting solution for technical rubber and gasket production. The S series carousel splitting machines (S 20, S 22, S 24, S 36, S 41) automate horizontal splitting of foam blocks in continuous carousel mode for the highest production volumes.

Benefits Of Horizontal Splitting

Leather splitting precision: the CAMOGA 520L+ micrometric sharpening system maintains blade geometry throughout the full production run — consistent thickness calibration from the first hide to the last

Foam splitting versatility: the Fecken-Kirfel H and G series cover every foam density and hardness — from flexible PU to 90 Shore A rubber — in one distributed range

Uniform layer cutting: band knife geometry guarantees a flat, parallel cut across the full working width — no thickness variation edge to edge

Nine CAMOGA versions: from the compact leather splitter for small workshops to the C 1520 for full industrial throughput — one range covers every leather splitting production scale

French distribution: installation, training and after-sales service for both CAMOGA and Fecken-Kirfel horizontal splitting machines delivered directly by Suteau-Anver’s own technicians
