The SA 121-CN is a high-precision hydraulic travelling head press with CNC control, designed and manufactured by Suteau-Anver, engineered to cut flexible and semi-rigid materials in sheets or rolls. The die is fixed under the mobile carriage, guaranteeing increased stability and precision at every cut — an inverted positioning compared to conventional travelling head presses that ensures significantly better result reproducibility.
Its cardboard cutting pad is an economical and practical alternative to traditional counter-plates: it delivers significant cost savings, reduces maintenance and is easily replaced for optimised use. Its nesting software optimises cut placement on the material, reducing waste and improving production efficiency — essential for costly materials such as leather, carbon or Kevlar.
It can be equipped with an automatic tool magazine enabling easy tool changes, offering the possibility of integrating multiple cutting shapes within the same production cycle without stopping. Thanks to its advanced system, the SA 121-CN is capable of cutting several material layers simultaneously, guaranteeing high productivity and optimised yield, with a throughput of 18 to 50 strokes per minute depending on dimensions, shapes and material height.
